Casey was diagnosed with ALL at age 2 1/2. She completed treatment at age 5, shortly after starting kindergarten. Casey has been finished with treatment since November 2006, and reached the five year milestone of being cancer free for five years in 2011.
Casey has volunteered for many organizations and events that have been involved in helping our family during the course of her treatment, and beyond.
Casey has a younger sister, Jaime, who is now 20 years old and attends the University at Albany.
Casey graduated with honors from The New York Institute of Technology with her Bachelors in Architecture, and received two awards upon graduation. She is currently working full time at a major firm on Long Island. She has always been a strong, independent and passionate young woman, and continues to thrive.
