My Story
Madison was diagnosed in April 2008 with Wilms' Tumor stage IV at age two. Today at age five she continues to battle this disease with courage, which is why she is "Maddy the Brave!" Madison has been fighting for her life longer than she wasn't. She underwent radiation and chemotherapy when she was first diagnosed. She then relapsed after five months off treatment. She was then treated with high dose, more intense chemotherapy followed by an autologous stem cell transplant. She relapsed again five months off that treatment and continues to be on chemotherapy today. Maddy is a beautiful, caring, wise beyond her years little girl who loves all things life has to offer. She especially loves her twin brother, Jack.
Thank you for taking the time to read about my Maddy and thank you for donating to St. Baldrick's in honor of her.
