Andre DuVall was born in july 2004, beautiful and healthy. The first two years of life were filled with family, and learning how to crawl, walk and talk. Then , Andre begin to bruise easily, getting bloody noses and coughing up blood. After blood tests,his doctor orderd Andre to Childrens Hospital in Denver,CO. At 2 Andre was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. The treatment would be long and exhaustive. Andre's family was there from the start to support him through treatment. After the initial feelin of shock and disbelief, Andre's family begin to feel belief- that he would make through and beat the cancer. For four years Andre bravely endured the symptoms and side effects,doctor vists and hospital stays but still managed to enjoy the little things in life, like playing the wii and playstation and coloring. Through programs such as st, baldricks Andre is in remission today! He is a healthy bright and active 6 year old who enjoys soccer,football, and video games! Andre loves spending time with family and friends!! Thank you st. baldrick's!
