My son was born on Nov 13th, 2000, a week past his due date. I knew he was going to be stubborn just like his momma, doing things on his terms. Wilson was dx July 25, 2001 with stg 3 Neuroblastoma cancer. A tumor was found in his right kidney. With surgery an 4 months of chemo therapy, Wilson was declared in remission Dec 7th, 2001. As of right now Wilson is 10yrs old an has been cancer free for 9yrs.
Wilson is your typical 10yr old boy playing video games, enjoying soccer, an being with his family. His favorite subject at school is math. Due to the chemo Wilson is a picky eater but he really loves to cook. My son has a very big heart an is not afraid to step up an help other in need.
