Life Update: Grace is a first-year college student! She is 13 years cancer-free and is thriving! She is doing so well and enjoys visiting UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital and spending time with patients.
Grace is a wonderful little girl. A spark plug actually! She is always full of life and has a lot of energy to spare. There is not much difference from the girl she was before being diagnosed with cancer and the girl she is now. Grace spends a lot of time either in UCLA or the outpatient clinic receiving her chemo. Yet, she says "thank you Mother Nature!" every day whether it's raining or beautiful sunshine. She's just happy.
Grace is a true girl ... Tea parties, stuffed animals, dressing up, wearing jewelry and lots of arts and crafts. She would dress up our dog if she could, but Mickey is too big!
