Konnor was born in May of 2009 and as far as we knew happy and healthy. He was a GREAT baby. Then on August 30, 2009 our lives were changed forever. Konnor was admitted for dehydration but it turned out that he had a huge tumor up his spine and off his right kidney. Konnor was diagnosed with Stage 3 Neuroblastoma. Konnor went through two major surgeries and four rounds of Chemo before his first birthday. Through it all he wore a smile on his face and let his personality shine through.
Konnor is my hero always will be. HIs strength and courage going through everything he has been through in such a short time has been amazing. He never gave up and neither will we as we continue to fight this horrible disease. We hope and prey one day there will be a cure and no more children will have to suffer.
