Aaron is the smartest and most lively 3 year-old, despite his cancer diagnosis. He absolutely adores anything to do with tractors and has quite a big collection. He has a twin sister, Katie and a big brother, Zachary.
Aaron loves tools and hanging out with his Daddy. He is only 3 but speaks more like an adult. It's amazing to hear what comes out of his mouth at times.
In September, 2009, Aaron was diagnosed with Stage 3 High Risk Neuroblastoma. He looks great despite the war he has been forced to fight. He has completed 6 rounds of high dose chemotherapy, one small bowel obstruction, one 12 hour tumor resection which left a scar across his entire abdomen, two bone marrow transplants, one incidence of septic shock, countless oppurtunistic infections and illnesses, 3 surgeries for central line placements, another tumor resection near his spine which resulted in complications requiring two chest tubes. He is currently receiving 20 doses of radiation and will begin antibody therapy in September 2010. All of this he does bravely and with a smile on his face.
