My Story
Meghan was 18 months old when she was diagnosed with Bi-Phenotypic Leukemia. Throughout most of her treatment she remained happy, laughing and dancing thru the hallways in the hospital. Everyone knew who she was because she would make a point out of telling everyone, "Everybody Loves Meghan" which stems from every night after we would finish reading a book, I would tell her Good Night May, Mommy Loves You, Daddy Loves You, Tommy Lee Loves You, and she would always say "who else" and I would start naming the Sesame Street characters.... Elmo Loves You, Bert Loves You, Ernie Loves You, then she would say who else, and here comes the names of all of the Barney characters, then the friends she had when she was in daycare, I would try to remember everyone's name, and she would always want more people to be named until I would finally end with "Everybody Loves Meghan".... She adored her big brother Tommy Lee and always wanted to hold his hand. They were so incredibly close and loved each other dearly. Meghan was a pure joy and is missed immeasurably.
