My Story

On January 3, 2001, one day before Mari's 5th birthday, she was diagnosed with ALL. It all started with her being cold, tired and not her happy self, then came the bruises and the lower back pain. Initial blood test suggested Leukemia. The bone marrow test the next morning confirmed it. Mari is now 14 and cancer free. She enjoys Dance classes, music, spending time with friends and Fox channel dramas. Mari also enjoys art, she is in the art club at school. She is a normal teen, something that at one point we weren't sure would ever happen. Please support St. Baldricks.
