My Story

In 2009, as a 6th grader, Jordan ran a 5:45mile and was one of the top cross country youths runners in the state of NJ, but in December of that year, twelve-year-old Jordan was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma in her right thigh (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ewing's_sarcoma). She had month's of chemotherapy, and was scheduled for surgery that April. The surgery was about 10 to 12 hours long to remove the tumor from her leg and repair her leg. She then continued chemotherapy after surgery. Throughout this difficult time, Jordan continues to remain strong and is now in remission and running again.
