Taylor Lane Hulsey is 11 years old! only child. Taylor was diagnosed in February of 2007 with a Glioblastoma Multiforme which is a type brain cancer. Taylor's stubborn tumor lies at the point where the brain stem goes into the spinal cord which makes her tumor inoperable.
Things were just moving along, but then last year she suddenly lapsed into a coma due to a brain shunt malfunction. 15 days later she awoke, sadly to find that her language skills were gone and she can no longer walk or stand on her own. She has also lost the use of her right arm and hand. Taylor goes every two weeks for Chemo infusion treatment (when she is healthy enough) at the Aflac Center at Scottish Rite in Atlanta Georgia.(the treatment is to hopefully break into the tumor and eventually shrink it)
She is a precious girl who has a smile that moves me to tears and makes me melt! She loves all things pink and purple, the Jonas Brothers, Taylor Swift and has a special place in her heart for Alan Jackson!!
