Fernandez, 6 was diagnosed with lymphobastic leukemia (ALL) on March 13, 2008 after many visits to the emergency room with fever. After many hospital admissions, Fernandez is in maintenance stage and is receiving chemo therapy once a month with last treatment will be October of 2011.
Fernandez is a huge fan of The Denver Broncos. He is currently in kindergarten through The Jemez Day School Home School. Fernandez loves drawing and enjoys the outdoors.
