Hi!! My name is Bodie Michael Sanders and I wanted to tell you a little bit about myself. I was born in Riverside, Ca on November 23rd, 2005. I am now a big boy… a whole four years old. I actually get to start kindergarten this August. I’m so excited. Now that I am feeling better, I’m ready to go back to school!
I was diagnosed with leukemia in March of 09’. I was 3 years old. I stayed at Loma Linda Children’s Hospital while Dr. Kheradpour and his team of doctors worked on making me feel better. I am now in remission and on the “maintenance” program which will continue for the next couple of years.
I have a pretty big family and a lot of friends that love me. I have two older sisters, Summer and Autumn, an older brother, Cole and my baby brother Logan. Wait, I can't forget my doggy Scrappy Doo. My mommy’s name is Kim and my daddy’s name is Ted. I love to ride bikes and scooters, play Wii, go swimming in our pool, read books, play with my friends and watch Spiderman and Batman. Someday, I want to go to Gotham City to meet Batman. He is my hero. I also love to go to Ronald McDonald Camp. I went with my meemas and Aunt Mande in October of 09’ and had the best time of my life. I met my friend Ryan there too! Now, my family and I get to go there every year!! Yay!
I hope you enjoyed my story. Love to all! …………………..Bodie
