My Story

Karley is now 12 years old and is a healthy young girl. Not a day goes by without her mom and dad looking at her as a 'gift'. Our family is stronger than ever before and we enjoy spending as much time with one another as possible. Karley was diagnosed with Wilms tumor cancer of the kidney) back in March 2009 at the age of five. After six months of chemotherapy, three surgeries and a short series of radiation treatments, Karley is now cancer-free and currently living with her family in Illinois.   Thanks for visiting Karley's page.
