Justin Alan Trammel was the kind of little boy that people didn't seem to forget once they had met him. He was a very talkative, intelligent and outgoing young man. He loved cars, trucks, his bicycle, and anything he could play in the dirt with. An easy going and fun loving kind of person.
Seemingly Justin was a normal little boy with a bright future. That is until April of 2000, when he was diagnosed with cancer at the ripe age of six years old. The doctors called it neuroblastoma.
For the next two years and nine months Justin fought as bravely as any human who has ever faced death. He never complained a single time and never wanted his mother or I to be sad. However, despite our best efforts, Justin lost his battle with cancer on December 3, 2002 just two weeks shy of his ninth birthday.
If you have ever lost a child to cancer, then you know how devastating this disease and experience is. If you have not, then you are more blessed than you realize. No parent should have to bury a child. Please consider giving to St. Baldrick's and help us find an answer to childhood cancer so that no one ever has to face this again. Thank You.
Mike Trammel
