My Story

August 21, 2008 at 1:21pm in Roseville, CA Nolan Canaan Sandvos was born to first-time parents Amy & Eli Sandvos. A plump baby boy of 8lbs-3oz and 19-3/4” long, Amy says he was “born with a smirk on his face, like he already had a sense of humor.” Nolan was welcomed into an enormous extended family of cousins, grandparents, aunties & uncles who immediately fell in love with his enormous eyes and big personality. Nolan’s first year progressed as it does for most babies: teething, sitting up, crawling, making baby-noises & then learning to say real words. Just after his first birthday Nolan began walking, keeping Amy & Eli busy chasing him around. One of Nolan’s favorite things: MUSIC! Nolan loves to dance, Elvis style, and is especially fond of music that Eli picks out.
