My Story
.Meaghan was a remarkable young woman she was diagnosed with Glioblastomia in April 2006 and died for the disease in 2008, she was 16 years old. Meaghan was full of love and laughter and touched the hearts of everyone she met during her journey. Her cancer was located in her central nervous system and she was told that she would never walk again, which she did only to have the cancer reoccur and take her steps away the next time. Meaghan never let the disease affect her spirit and she organized her classmates to raise money for cancer related charities and a foundation was created after her death to continue helping other children with cancer.
