My Story
On December 5, 2007, while attending Brown University in Rhode Island, Scott was diagnosed with testicular cancer. Scott bravely fought his cancer with an attitude that was matched by no other. He never complained or gave up. Scott's biggest frustration was being away from school and having to put his education on hold.
After a 6 month battle, Scott passed away on May 26, 2008, at 19 years old. He will be forever missed.
Scott will always be remembered as an amazing person with the utmost curiosity, who always wanted to learn something new and teach it to someone who would listen. Scott loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, windsurfing and camping. However, his real passion lied in constantly learning new things. Scott was extremely intelligent and wise beyond his years. It's this sort of passion that those who knew Scott use to continue his legacy.
