Imagine if you will a normal school day. Your child has been complaining for a week now that their stomach hurt, they are eating less and not going to the bathroom like normal. All in all it could be just new school worries but your gut says otherwise. You take them in to the doctor just to be sure and his word’s will haunt you forever. “ I feel a mass and you need to see an Oncologist!”Every day 46 families hear this news.
My son Zach was one of those children. He was fine the day before. He had open birthday presents early with his grandparents. In June of 2009 Zachary was diagnosed with this horrible monster called cancer. With the help of many of our friend’s in Wichita Falls we have survived our journey and now we want to give back. We want to fight this monster head on and raise awareness.
