My Story

First it all started in October 25, 2008. I went to school and went to the office because I got a fever. I went to the clinic Sierra Vista. Then the next day I went to get a lab in the morning. Then by 3:00 p.m. They called my mom and said that I had to go to Madera that I had Leukeumia (ALL). After that, my family came to the house and got to hospital and explained to us I was going to get a metaport and was going to get chemotherapy. Then my mom would start crying and I would tell her not to cry and that I was not going to die. The next week I got my chemotherapy and went home that day and the next morning my legs were hurting they say it was from the chemotherapy. The next day i had a fever and if i moved my legs I would cry. I got an infection and had bacteria on 90% of my body. I got a big thyroid and could not eat or drink any thing for 2 weeks. I was in ICU and they told me it was difficult I would survive. Later the doctor said the bacteria was going away and that I was going back to school and do track! Then I was in the hospital for 3 months and got out. They said that they didn't know how I got better that fast. I could walk better but not run yet. I don't really care, I'm like normal like if nothing happened. I keep getting better and better. My dream is to be an astronomer and go to the Olympics for Track and Field and help kids with cancer.
