Hi, my name is Grace and I was diagnosed with bone cancer in my right lower femur and knee in December, 2008, just after I turned 16. I put my competitive swim season on hold to begin chemotherapy and to have the tumor removed. In March, my knee and 6 inches of my femur were removed and reconstructed by the most skilled Surgeons at Rush University Medical Center. I am counting down the days until I can get back in the water and train.
Thank you for donating to St. Baldricks! I have seen first hand how St. Baldricks Foundation funds have impacted the research done at Rush. Your donation will help to find a cure for bone cancer!
