My Story

My name is Layla, and I was told I had cancer at 2 1/2 years old. I had to take medicine to make me better every single day for 2 1/2 years. Shots, pills, spinal taps, IVs. I got sick and lost my hair and still have a fear of needles to this day. Now I am 10 years old and while I am Cancer free I have side effects from the medicine that saved my life. School is hard for me, but I am a survivor. I want to work with kids like me because I know what it's like to have cancer and win. Please help raise money for childhood cancer research so eventually kids won't have to suffer like I did.
