Amanda was an incredible blessing! She battled through over two years of treatment including chemotherapy, radiation and two bone marrow transplants for aplastic anemia. After her second bone marrow transplant she developed PTLD (post- transplant lymphoproliferative disease)that in turn caused her to get diffuse large B cell lymphoma. Despite setbacks Amanda continued to inspire us every day.
Amanda loved school. She was a typical pre-teen girl whose favorite things include Hannah Montana and princesses. Ask anyone who knew Amanda and they will tell you that she was an absolute joy. Her bright smile and sense of humor lit-up a room.
