Our little Spiderman with his incredible imagination has embarked on the battle of his life and has enlisted the big Spiderman to help him defeat the evil Monster APML Leukemia. Austin currently enjoys his 3rd month in complete and molecular remission! The treatment for APML leukemia proved to be a statue in cancer research and discovery. Eastern medicines mixed with western cancer treatments gives hope to cancer patients everywhere that one day there will be alternatives treatments to cancer. APML patients undergo a spout of chemotherapy mixed with large doses of vitamin A, some researchers believe it wont be long before chemotherapy wont be necessary at all in the treatment of this particular cancer. Patients everywhere hope a pray for discoveries like this will happen bringing alternatives to risky surgeries, radiation, chemotherapy, and other harsh treatments in the fight against cancer. It is your dollars to St. Baldricks that will help fund such research bringing new life and hope to children, like my little Spiderman. For more information on Austin's story please visit;
