Sarah was first diagnosed with hodgkins lymphoma when she was 15 years old. Before her illness she was an active member of the MHS pom squad and had been involved in cheerleading or dance for many years.
She is now 17 years old and has been in remission for 18 months. She is getting ready to graduate from Mayfield. After graduation she will be attending NMSU and hopes to one day be either a math professor or high school math teacher.
