Matt had 7 weeks of radiation and 3 courses of chemotherapy as well as surgery to remove any remaining tumor. There were 16 biopsies done after treatment and all were negative. He had a 6 month recovery after surgery. During this ordeal he never once complained about how terrible he felt or felt sorry for himself. He continued with a positive attitude day after day. He is an inspiration to many. He was able to keep up with his school work and will be graduating with his class in June. He is anxiously looking at colleges. He was thrilled to be able to play on his basketball team this year, as last years' season was cut short by his diagnosis. He also enjoys watching the Cavs and playing video games.
