Brittain has been in remission for almost 5 years now, and you would never be able to tell that he ever battled cancer. He is a playful 6 year old little boy who enjoys spending much of his time with his big brother; riding bikes and playing video games.
Brittain has a strong understanding of life. He knows suffering and he knows triumph. But most importantly, he knows love. Not a day goes by without hearing I love you come out of his mouth at least a handful of times. His bedtime routine includes giving everyone in our house hugs and kisses. This includes all pets as well. The love he has in his heart is what made him so strong while he was sick, and is why he was able to persevere and fight his way into being a healthy, happy young boy. We are so lucky to have Brittain in our lives, and to see his bright smile every day. Brittain is our very own personal miracle.
