Normal life changed forever the day we took our usually healthy 2 year old in to the doctor with what we thought was just a flu bug. She was diagnosed with stage IV Neuroblastoma High risk, unfavorable. The cancer had spread from one side of her abdomen to the other wrapping finger-like around organs. It was in her distant lymph nodes and bone marrow. One of the hardest parts for her was loosing her pretty hair. She just cried when we could no longer put it up in piggy tails or ribbons, and when anyone would ask how old our "boy" was, she would put both hands on her hips and let them have it! She is not a boy, but a true princess! The treatments we harsh, but Lillia was determined to appear for every appointment strong willed and in her pink and ruffles. Because of the love and grace of Jesus Christ she is alive and in remission today! To God be the Glory!
