Sophia is the youngest child in our family. She is my baby. Being fully aware of how loved she is has helped her to fight this disease. She was breastfed from birth, and continues to as she endures the treatment for ALL. Her spirit is strong. We ensure her body stays strong. She will be turning 3 years old Feb15. For her celebration she has asked for purple cupcakes, and a fairy doll.
Sophie is a dancer. She clears out the living room daily for space to twirl, and spin. I have made her many dresses which she believes magically transform her into a princess when worn. We are looking forward to her being well enough to participate in more formal dance instruction. Most days she says she will be a "ballet" when she grows up. Today she wants to be a purple elephant!
