Little Dylan is a precious 3-year old boy who suffers from an inoperable brain tumor, Autism, and a rare severe seizure disorder called Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome.
Since Dylan's original diagnosis at 9 months of age, he has gone through major surgery, and received chemotherapy every week for 16 months. Dylan continues to receive extensive ongoing treatment including physical, behavioral, occupational, and speech therapy, because he is non-verbal, has difficulty chewing food, and several other developmental delays.
Despite the fact that Dylan is on several medications, in an effort to control his epilepsy, he suffers through a dangerous high number of seizure episodes everyday. Dylan is traumatized from going through so many frightening and painful experiences.
The specific future prognosis for Dylan is unknown, but none of the possibilities are very encouraging. What we do know is that Dylan will be dependent on his parents for the rest of his life. Dylan and his family would be most grateful for your continued thoughts, prayers, and any assistance you can provide. Thank you and may God bless you!
