My Story

Hey Everybody! Its been a crazy AWESOME!!!! year for Kennedy! Let's start with the BEST NEWS, this summer marked 3 years with no signs of cancer ;) :) We are just so happy and grateful!!!! Kennedy has been a very busy and healthy little girl, on top of school, gymnastics and picking on her brothers, Kennedy has been continuing to do her part to raise awareness and help raise funds. She was recognized as Antioch's Little Miss Hero for her continued fight against childhood cancer and was also chosen as the new face for the Foundation for Children with Cancer for her never wavering smile and bravery during treatment. Which you can see in some of the pictures I have posted. Even through all of these wonderful recognitions Kennedy never forgets who she is doing this for, with every event Kennedy will ask us "how does this help the kids that can't go home". Let's follow in her footsteps and continue to do our part for the brave little boys and girls still fighting! Looking forward to another great St. Baldrick's year with you all. Oh! Be sure to check out the pictures we have shared to see Kennedy and her Brother making the cover of the Kenosha News at last year's event! While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about. Author: Angela Schwindt
