Michael, known as "BIG MIKE" to the CHOASR was a very loving, caring
and unselfish young man. Throughout his illness he never worried
about himself, he was always concerned about his family especially his
sisters. He was asked one day about his feelings and spirits about his
AML and BIG MIKE stated to us, "this leukemia can't hurt me, it can not
break my spirits. If something happens to one of my sisters while I'm
sick and I cant handle it...I know whatever happens God has my back"
The staff at CHOASR spoiled BIG MIKE and I really mean spoiled him.
The staff went above and beyong their job requirements.
Before BIKE MIKE passed, he thanked us (his parents) for taking good
care of him and loving him all of his life. If you had known Michael
Anthony Godfrey II, you would have loved him too!
AS WRITTEN TO JEFF KNIGHT BY MIKE'S LOVING PARENTS....MIKE
AND ERICA GODREY.
