My Story

Jack endured 4 rounds of intense chemo and achieved remission after 6 months. When he started to lose his hair, he wanted to put it into baggies and sell them to school friends for 50 cents a bag. Jack said nobody else had anything like that. The hardest part of treatment for Jack was the prolonged hospital stays, PICU, and missing little league games. Jack loves sports. This year he played basketball, tackle and flag football, and did not miss any little league games. We are thrilled to be a part of St.Baldrick's this year. Childhood Cancer Research is vastly underfunded, and our hearts go out to the 46 kids that will be diagnosed today, and every day. We need to find a cure.
