Zachary was diagnosed with ALL on Valentine's Day, 2008. He had just
turned three years old. Zachary has had a few bumps in the road. He
has a chest port as well as a ventricular access device in his head. He
developed a subdural hematoma near his spine eliminating access for
spinal taps. He now receives them and intrathecal chemo through the
port in his head. He has also suffered one seizure.
Zachary has endured all of this and still has a tremendous spirit. He
just wants to be a kid, but he knows there are things he has to do to
get well again. He is our Big Tuff Guy!!!
He enjoys playing Wii games with his older sister and brother. He also
likes to be outdoors walking in the woods, fishing and playing in the
snow.
Zachary is a wonderful little boy who is happy that is hair is growing back and looks forward to going to school in the fall!!
