Nicole is a junior at Alpharetta High School. Nicole enjoys reading,
traveling, cooking, and keeping up with her friends.
On August 19, 2008, her life was turned upside down. A routine school
physical two weeks earlier revealed a marble size lump on her neck,
which lead to more doctor appointments, scans of her neck and body,
and finally a biopsy which was positive for Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
Nicole is now faced with 6 months or more of chemotherapy and the
possibility of radiation. During all of this, Nicole is trying to live a normal life. Nicole is going to school, learning how to drive and still doing the things she enjoys.
Some days are harder than others, but she continues to fight the battle
against cancer.
