Caitlin was rehearsing for a ballet recital last May when she was diagnosed with medulloblastoma. When other kids were barging out the school doors for a long awaited summer break, Caitlin was in surgery having two tumors removed followed by radiation/cheom and rehabilitation and currently still more rounds of chemotherapy. Her school this year has been with the help of a tutor primarily.
Caitlin loves going to movies and live theatre, especially musicals. She loves Anime and likes to go to the local convention in Portland. She is doing art with the CHAP program too. She has a great sense if humor ranging from British sit comedies to Dane Cook (much to her mother's chagrin). I am shaving my head to get a small taste of what she has had to go through this past year. She is a real trooper and a comeback kid.
