Chelsea is our little fighter. Diagnosed at 9 months with infant AML she has taken all her treatments and kept a smile on her face. She is currently undergoing Chemotherapy and has started to lose her hair. She is so young she does not notice but her mama and papa do. She takes all her medicine, puts up with her chemo and keeps eating all while learning to crawl and stand up. She is such a brave little girl. She loves all her doctors and nurses especially the equipment they use. We are pretty sure she will be a nurse when she grows up just so she can use all their tools. Chelsea is loved so very much by her mama, papa and brother Fuller and all the wonderful people who have given our family so much support.
Updated---August 2009--We have now enjoyed one cancer free year as a family. We are so thankful that Chelsea is doing well and is in remission still. She is amazing to watch grow, learn to talk and play with her best friend her brother Fuller. Our hope is she continues to thrive and the evil beast "leukemia" stays away.
Updated---May 2011--Chelsea is doing great. She loves school, dance class and playing with her brother. We are so lucky she has been in remission for over three years and this summer we will celebrate three years off treatment. As always we hope she continues to stay well and we get the chance to watch her grow into the amazing person she is.
