My Story

Our life forever changed when our son Jesse was diagnosed with AML on December 18, 2006. After 5 rounds of intense chemo, 2 trips to the ICU, numerous infections caused by the lack on an immune system, numerous transfusions, a weight loss of 50 lbs, and the majority of 8 months spent in the hospital, Jesse is now in remission thanks to the team of excellent doctors and nurses at Children's Medical. These days Jesse does what he enjoys most, Baseball, playing video games and hanging out with his good friends. Although he lost a lot of strength and endurance in Baseball, we are grateful and know that he will continue to grow stronger each day. Jesse will graduate in June and it's his desire to go on to college and continue to play Baseball! A shout out to Jesse's favorite doctor, Martha Stegner! Our prayer is that no other child has to suffer with cancer. Jesse Briscoe is "Relentless"
