After studying hard for years, Hong finally got admitted to his dream university¨CThe Hong Kong Polytechnic University to study for a Higher Diploma in Tourism Management, and enjoy his first taste of life at a tertiary educational institution. Before he fell ill, Hong had been a top student who had represented Hong Kong to take part in the International Mathematical Olympiad, and won Silver Medal.
But a sudden illness dealt such a serious blow to the wonder kid that made it almost impossible to recover from. Fortunately the long and arduous hospitalization and his brush with death lit up his life, and made him come to cherish life and do his best, and taught him to be humble.
After recovering from his sickness, his gift in mathematics miraculously remained intact. However, as he had come to develop an increasingly strong interest in humanity, he decided to switch to studying arts subjects.
