I'm telling you a story about my nephew. His name is Alvin and he
is now an 8 year old boy that is FULL of life. Alvin was diagnosed in
'04 and it was such a tragedy for our whole family. My sister Randi
had so much on her hands. We just didn't know how to deal with it.
With the help of God and so many wonderful people we got through
it all. He went through chemo for 3 years, had all the cranky attitudes
that come with it, and has now been cancer free for a year.
He has so many memories of his time at the hospital and has made
lots of friends. Every time we go back for tests there are lots of
people we see that have grown with us through the past few years.
My heart goes out to all the families and especially the young children that have to go through this. May God Bless you all.
