My Story
6/2013 Update-4 years off chemo! One more year to go to be declared "cured." Chase continues to excel in school, making straight A's at Northlake Christian School. He is a starter on his high school football team, the Wolverines.
2/28/2012 Update-Chase is doing fantastic-He is close to three years post treatment. He is in 8th grade, makes straight A's, and played his first year of football this year for his school's Jr High team. Through this he has discovered a new passion-football. He is training hard in the off season to improve his speed and skills. We are amazed at how well Chase is doing considering everything he has endured. His oncologist visits are every three months now.
Update: Chase finished treatment 6/9/09. He is in remission and will be considered "cured" five years post treatment, which is 6/9/2014! He is now in 7th grade, making straight A's and returning to athletics.
Chase loves sports, Star Wars, action figures. His
favorite sport is basketball and his favorite color is
green. He has been bald for one year and four months.
He loves his hair and can't wait for it to grow back
permanently.
He is in 4th grade at Folsom Elementary School in
Folsom, LA. Since his diagnosis, he became a home bound
student and he is taught at home by his teacher. He is an excellent
student and makes straight A's.
