My Story

Megan is a sweet 18 year old "girly girl" who fought hard for 18 months to beat her brain cancer. After brain surgery, six weeks of high dose spinal/cranial radiation, and 18 months of chemotherapy, Megan is in remission. Megan had no hair for 2 years. With Megan being a "girly girl" this was very difficult for her. To this day she will not cut her hair. Even though Megan has many long term health effects due to her treatment, she remains a happy girl. But more money is needed for research so that a better cure can be found for her and all other kids with cancer. These kids may be cured, but they are paying a high price for it.
