Looking at Sean, you would never know what he has been through. He is very happy & energetic. We feel so lucky & blessed that he survived his cancer & is thriving. When Sean was 2 1/2 he was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma (a very aggressive soft tissue sarcoma) in his bladder. For 42 weeks, Sean endured weekly chemotherapy treatments and also six weeks of daily radiation to his bladder. Thankfully, he did very well handling his treatment. He has been off treatment and cancer free since 2008, and is now considered a long term survivor :)
