Ellie was diagnosed with Burkitt's Lymphoma on Oct. 2, 2007 just 6 weeks into her freshman year of high school. Instead of spending time watching football on Friday nights, looking for a homecoming dress, or competing with her academic team, Ellie spent the next 4 months battling against this aggressive cancer.. Even after losing almost 40 lbs. and all of her hair, she survived the grueling treatments and is cancer free today. Our lives are forever changed and our hearts go out to all of those kids battling today. That's why we are helping today. We stand united against childhood cancer!
