My Story
Evan was the most courageous, easygoing, fun-loving young man you would ever meet. Always a smile on his face, he loved to make others laugh. He is missed by all that knew him.
He loved participating in sports and projects where he could use his hands.
Evan was just starting his Freshman Year at Saint Xavier High School in Louisville, Kentucky in the fall of 2003. On December 1, he was diagnosed with DSRCT. Over the next 11 1/2 months, Evan bravely went through 13 surgeries, 6 chemo treatments, radiation and a BMT. Complications during his transplant ended his life on November 18, 2004.
