Mason was diagnosed in May of 2005 with A.L.L. He was scheduled to have 3 years and 3 months of treatment. Sadly, he relapsed in his Central Nervous System in Jan of 2008. He had an additional 2 years of aggressive chemotherapy and cranial radiation which brought him to March of 2010 when he finished treatment. Mason is a wonderful little boy. His smile lights up a room. He is wise beyond his years and always has a story to tell. He loves riding bikes, jumping on the trampoline and playing lacrosse! While at Children's he could be most often found having dance parties at the nurses station or riding his IV pole playing Nerf wars. Mason is an inspiration to all who know him. He is an amazingly strong patient and wonderful big brother to his sister and brother. He is always looking out for other people and never meets a stranger.
