My Story
Nate is now almost 18. They had found a tumor in his knee at age 16. He went through months of chemo-therapy, a surgery removing the tumor/bone and replacing it with a rod and knee joint. Then he had more chemo. He was cancer free for a bit but they found some cancerous nodules in his lungs. He had a few surgeries to remove some and tried some experimental treatment but has recently decided to just try living for awhile. He wants to graduate with his class and is playing baseball for his last season in high school. He loves baseball. He was able to throw out the first pitch in a Rockies play off game. That was awesome. More on Nate at www.caringbridge.org/visit/natejurney
