Emily is now a very active 5 year old. She loves to go to kindergarten
and play with all her friends. She has started tumbling again after
her port removal in December 2008. She is getting ready to begin
soccer, and she plans to play tball this summer.
Emily was diagnosed with Stage II Wilms Tumor December 17, 2007.
She has been out of treatment since May 13, 2008, and she has
remained cancer free. She goes for checkups every 3 months.
During her treatment, she suffered the expected side effect of hair loss.
It is always very moving to see all the folks who shave their heads to
support Emily & other children like her. You can learn more
