My reason for doing this is to support and remember my baby sister
Lisa Kent who passed away at 14. She was always the life of the
party living life to the fullest. She was all legs and arms with
gorgeous blond hair she tossed about as she talked and teased
us. She enjoyed swimming and dancing and was proud to be one
of the schools pom pom girls. She would ride down with me in my
old volkswagon convertible beetle to keep me company on the 900
mile ride from St. Louis to Raleigh where I was in college. She was
a talker which was great because there was no way I would fall
asleep during the long 16 ride. Even when she was diagnosed she
would go speak to small groups on how important it was to live life
to the fullest and not take any time you have for granted! I have tried
to follow her advice every day since she has left us. I do this now for
her in her honor and to let her know how much I love her! She like
so many others were taken so early for reasons only God knows,
perhaps as examples to appreciate all he has given and for us not
to forget it! So here's to you Lisa we all love you!
