Audrey was the shy and caring little girl always helping her friends and had been planning her (4th) birthday party with for months. She was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia one month before her fourth birthday. We were home from the hospital just in time for her to celebrate her special day. After several months of chemotherapy she is in remission and onto the maintenance phase of her treatment. Her prognosis has been very good from the beginning - we are so lucky!
She is very active and will start to re-enter the world again. If you see her and did not know her history - you would not know what this brave girl has been through and still battling. She completely understands what is going on and doesn't complain about any of it.
Audrey is a true hero and is going to kick this cancer in the butt!
